These tools are built and run by DataEdge Insights Ghana. The short version of what follows:
This summary is for orientation only. The numbered sections below are the terms that apply.
The Digital Tool Suite is provided by DataEdge Insights Ghana, a research and evaluation practice registered in Ghana ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at dataedgeinsights@gmail.com, or by telephone and WhatsApp on +233 53 166 7123.
These terms govern your use of the five tools listed in Section 2, whether you use them free of charge or by subscription. By registering for, opening, or using any tool, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the tools.
Where you use a tool in the course of your employment or on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on that organisation's behalf, and "you" means both you and that organisation.
Suite means the Digital Tool Suite as a whole. Tool means any one of: the DataEdge Report Reviewer, the DataEdge Evaluation Workbench, the DataEdge Lecture Studio, DataEdge Course Studio: NVivo 15, and the DataEdge Workplan Tracker.
Access Code means the code we email to you when you register, which opens the free portion of a Tool. Subscription Code means the code we issue once your payment is confirmed, which opens the paid portion for the period of the plan you paid for. Your Content means anything you type, paste, upload, import, or generate using a Tool.
You must be at least 18 years old to register. The Tools are built for professional and academic use.
Registration is free. You submit your name, email address, country, and a short statement of why you need the Tool. Registration is processed automatically: an Access Code is generated and sent to the email address you give, normally within minutes. Because the code is sent only by email, you must use an address you control. If the code does not arrive, registering again with the same address resends the same code.
We may decline or withdraw a registration, and we are not obliged to give reasons. Registration is a permission to use a Tool, not a contract to provide it indefinitely.
You must give accurate details. We may refuse or withdraw access where the details given are false, where an institutional email is used without authority, or where a single registration is being used by several people.
Access Codes and Subscription Codes are issued to you personally and are not transferable. You may not share, publish, resell, or lend a code, and you may not pool one code across a team. Institutional or team access is available by arrangement; write to us.
A code is stored in the browser where you enter it, so you are not asked for it again on that browser. Each time you open the Tool, the code is checked against our records, so a code that has expired or been withdrawn stops working. Clearing your browser data, using a different browser or device, or using the Tool's reset control will require you to enter the code again.
We may change or revoke a code where these terms are breached, where a code has been shared, or where a payment is reversed or cannot be confirmed.
Four Tools have a paid element. Prices are stated in Ghana cedis (GHS) and are current as at the date shown above. Each plan runs for the period stated and opens all of the Tool's paid features:

Founding offer. Until 31 December 2026, the first 50 subscribers may take the 30-day plan of the Evaluation Workbench (GHS 340), Lecture Studio (GHS 190) or Report Reviewer (GHS 75) at 25% off, up to three times each.
Plans by arrangement. Team, department, cohort, student and bundle plans are agreed in writing and paid by invoice or payment link. Each person receives their own Subscription Code, which is not transferable. Student rates require proof of status.
Payment is made in the Tool through Paystack by Visa, Mastercard or mobile money; we never see card or wallet details. Plans never renew automatically. We pay Paystack's fees; bank, conversion and local charges are yours.
Because access is granted only after we confirm payment, and because a plan lasts a fixed period with no automatic renewal, there is nothing to cancel. Simply do not pay again.
We will refund a payment in full where your payment is taken but our system cannot confirm it and issue a Subscription Code, where a Tool's paid features do not work for reasons within our control and we cannot resolve the problem within 7 days of you telling us, or where you paid twice for the same period in error.
We do not refund part of a plan, unused time, a change of mind after a code has been issued and used, or an inability to use a Tool for reasons on your side, including an unsupported browser, no internet access, or a device you no longer have.
Refund requests go to dataedgeinsights@gmail.com with your Paystack payment reference, which appears on your receipt email. Refunds are made through Paystack to the card or mobile money wallet used, and the Subscription Code for a refunded payment is withdrawn.
You may use the Tools for your own professional, academic, or organisational work, including work you are paid to do for a client. You may not:
We follow Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012. Write to us to see, correct or delete any information we hold about you.
The Report Reviewer checks structure; it does not judge argument or compliance with any template. The completeness score is indicative. Review the final output before exporting. When you run a review, the text of your document is sent to the DataEdge server to be checked and is not stored there.
The Workbench supports evaluations against the OECD-DAC criteria but is not endorsed by the OECD. Ratings, findings and conclusions are your professional judgement; drafted text needs your verification. When you ask for a drafted finding, the evidence you logged for that criterion is sent to the DataEdge server and to our AI provider to prepare the draft, and is not stored by DataEdge.
The Lecture Studio generates teaching material. Review it and check citations before use. To generate a package, your session details and excerpts from your uploads are sent to the DataEdge server and to our AI provider, and are not stored by DataEdge. You must hold rights to your uploads. Generated material is entirely yours.
This independent NVivo 15 course is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lumivero. Your subscription does not include an NVivo licence. Screens may differ from your version. The course confers no qualification, and progress is stored only in your browser.
The Workplan Tracker is free, with no registration or subscription. Check its budget and percentage calculations before use. Work is not saved automatically, so save or export before leaving.
The Tools, including their code, structure, wording, templates, checklists, course content, design, and the DataEdge Insights Ghana name and logo, are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other rights. Registration or subscription gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Tools as described in these terms. It transfers nothing else.
The fact that a Tool's source is readable in your browser does not grant you any licence to copy, adapt, or redistribute it.
Output you generate using a Tool from your own inputs is yours, subject to the rights of any third party whose material you supplied.

Our total liability to you in connection with a Tool, in contract or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid us for that Tool in the three months before the claim arose.
We may suspend or end your access immediately where you breach these terms, where a code has been shared or published, where a payment cannot be confirmed or is reversed, or where use of a Tool threatens the security or integrity of our systems.
