Each grew out of a live assignment: a report that needed structuring, an evaluation that needed a workbench, a course that needed building. They run entirely in your browser, keep your work on your own device, and are built and maintained by DataEdge Insights Ghana.

How access works

Three steps

Register once inside the tool you want, and your code arrives by email. There is no separate account on this site.

Open the tool and register

Every tool handles its own registration on arrival. Enter your name, email, country, and what you need the tool for. Nothing is installed and no account is created on this site.

Your code arrives by email

Registration is free and automatic. The tool emails your access code straight away, usually within a minute or two; if it has not arrived, check your spam or junk folder.

Enter the code once

The code unlocks the tool on that browser and is remembered there, so you will not be asked again. Paid features unlock the moment you pay inside the tool, and a subscription code is emailed to you for use on other devices.

Subscription prices are in Ghana cedis and paid inside each tool through Paystack. Cards issued outside Ghana are charged in cedis and your bank converts the amount. Plans run for a fixed period (one month, a semester, an assignment, 90 days or a year) and do not renew automatically. Team, organisation and student plans are available on request. If your access code does not arrive, register again with the same email address and it will be resent, or write to dataedgeinsights@gmail.com. Use of any tool is subject to the Digital Tool Suite Terms & Conditions.

Planning

DataEdge Workplan Tracker

Holds a year of planned activities in one place and keeps progress visible at a glance, with a spreadsheet export when it is time to report.

For teams, units, and secretariats running an annual workplan, and anyone reporting progress to a board or a funder.

The problem
Annual workplans often sit in static documents, so progress, delays and budget use are hard to see until reporting time.
How it works
  1. Add each activity with its expected outcome, lead, dates, budget and status.

Free registration, then a paid plan

Registration is free and opens part of each tool. A paid plan, paid in cedis by card or mobile money, unlocks the rest: monthly, or for longer at a saving. Each card says exactly what the subscription adds, so nothing behind it comes as a surprise.

Writing & reporting

DataEdge Report Reviewer

Checks a draft report against the structure expected for its type, and hands back a version organised the way a reviewer will look for, with prompts where something is missing.

For programme officers, M&E staff, and consultants who write reports to a house standard and want the gaps found before a reviewer finds them.

At a glance: how it works
The problem
Reports are often returned because required sections are missing, weak or out of order, and the gaps are usually found late, by the reviewer.
How it works
  1. Choose the report type (executive, evaluation, meeting or mission report), or let the tool detect it.
  2. Paste the text or upload a .txt or .docx file.
  3. Run the analysis to see which required sections are present, weak or missing.
  4. Export the restructured draft and the review summary.

Builds a session's teaching material from the course documents you already have, so preparation starts from a working draft rather than a blank page.

Preparing a full session, with slides, notes, handouts and assessment, takes hours, and materials can drift away from the syllabus.
How it works
  1. Enter the session label and topic, and build on a previous session if you wish.
  2. Upload or link the course syllabus and the session readings.
  3. Review your inputs and generate the lecture package.
  4. Download the files and save the session to your archive.

A complete lecture package: session plan and timeline, slides (.pptx), lecture notes, a student handout and an assessment plan, referenced to your readings.

A note on your data. Your work is saved on your own device, not on our server. Clearing your browser data, or using the tool's own reset button, deletes that saved work, so export or save it before you do either.
